It was organized by the Committee of Legislative Chamber on budget and economic reforms and faction of Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan at lower house of parliament in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
Representatives of ministers, departments, state bodies in places, small and private businesses participated at the work of the roundtable.
Participants of the roundtable noted that Uzbekistan adopted several laws, decrees and resolutions directed at further developing small and private entrepreneurship.
They were directed at creating legal guarantees for entrepreneurship activities, exchange of credit information, simplification of licensing procedures, decreasing permission procedures.
In the result, Uzbekistan decreased order of state registration of businesses and simplified procedures on connection of businesses to engineering-communication networks, etc.
It was said that recent presidential decrees “On additional measures on stimulating attraction of foreign direct investments” and “On creation of Angren special industrial zone” are import and are directed at attracting foreign direct investments and strengthening preferences for businesses.
During the meeting, the participants discussed results of conducted works in places and developed recommendations on elimination of shortages.
