Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President signed the Law “On anti-corruption expertise of legal acts and their projects”.

The document is aimed at regulating relations in the field of anti-corruption expertise of legal acts and their drafts.

Subjects conducting anti-corruption expertise of legal acts and their projects include:

Anti-Corruption Agency;

justice authorities;

legal services of state bodies and organizations that are developers of NLA projects;

state bodies and organizations entrusted with ensuring the implementation of the relevant legal acts.

The Anti-Corruption Agency has the right to appoint an anti-corruption expertise of draft legal acts that have attracted public attention and caused various discussions and discussions in the media and social networks, during the discussion of which many opinions were expressed about the presence of corruption factors.

Separately, the procedure for public participation in the conduct of anti-corruption expertise is provided. Thus, NGOs, self-governing bodies of citizens and the media have the right to conduct a public examination of draft laws and regulations and make proposals for the elimination of corruption factors. Submitted proposals are subject to mandatory consideration by government agencies and organizations.
