Lebanon, Turkmenistan withdraw from U19 Group D
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The AFC has confirmed that Lebanon and Turkmenistan have withdrawn from Group D of the AFC U19 Championship 2010 qualifiers in Tehran.
The tournament, which starts on December 8, now features three teams - Iran, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Group D is the final qualifying event for the finals, scheduled to be held in October next year.
The top two teams from each of the eight groups, along with the best third-placed teams from East and West Asia, qualify for the finals.
