Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 February, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahimzoda.

During the conversation, the progress of implementation of current projects and prospects for the development of cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres were discussed.

The importance of timely implementation of agreements reached at the highest and highest levels, including within the framework of meetings of the intergovernmental commission, was noted.

Decisions were made on several issues relating to the implementation of joint projects and trade contracts, and a common position was developed on a number of new investment initiatives.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify contacts between industry working groups of the two countries to “compare watches,” develop proposals and take the necessary measures to further develop bilateral cooperation.
