Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 April 24, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade met with a delegation led by the President of the Utah State Senate Stuart Adams and the President of The Stirling Foundation Miles Hansen.

Issues of strengthening cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres between the state of Utah and Uzbekistan were discussed.

The parties examined in detail the prospects for the participation of American companies in projects in Uzbekistan, as well as issues of expanding bilateral partnerships in the fields of agriculture, tourism, mining, energy, information technology, and the financial sector.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to take joint measures to further deepen and expand bilateral cooperation and attract American companies to the Uzbek market.

The President of the Foundation Miles Hansen visited Uzbekistan in December 2023 and expressed interest in financing equipping schools with computers, organizing English language teaching, supporting special schools for people with disabilities and implementing other socially-oriented projects.
