Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with the CEO of the Japanese company Toyota Tsusho, Nobuhiko Murakami.
The meeting addressed current cooperation matters, including the status of ongoing joint projects in the energy and information and communication technology sectors, as well as prospects for expanding the portfolio of new joint ventures.
Toyota Tsusho Corporation, a trading company within the Toyota Group, was founded in 1948. The company operates over 150 offices and 900 subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide. Its primary business is supporting Toyota Motor’s automotive operations and other companies within the Toyota Group. The company employs over 50,000 people.
Following the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further cooperation and established a framework for direct interaction to expedite the implementation of the discussed projects and initiatives.
