Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Law enforcement authorities in Tashkent have detained individuals suspected of receiving and distributing synthetic drugs, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

During operational activities, strong narcotic substances were discovered with an 18-year-old man. Following this, law enforcement conducted a search of his temporary residence in the Mirabad district.

During the inspection, 2 kg and 50 grams of synthetic drugs were found hidden in an oven. Additionally, 139 grams of two types of synthetic drugs intended for sale as "drops" were seized.

The operation continued in the Yashnabad district, where a 26-year-old man was also found in possession of drugs. It was revealed that he had stored 2 kg and 190 grams of synthetic drugs along with packaging equipment for preparing "drops."

In total, 4 kg and 490 grams of synthetic drugs were seized, with a total value of 5.2 billion sums.
