Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the night of 14-15 June this year, traffic police officers stopped an Isuzu truck that was transporting meat products of unknown origin to the city of Tashkent. When examining the trunk of the car, it was found that the meat was not fit for human consumption.

The total weight of the meat was 941 kilograms, and the data were transferred to the specialists of the State Center for Diagnostics of Animal Diseases and Food Safety for further investigation.

Checks of employees of the quarantine service and the road patrol service are continuing in order to prevent such situations, to identify products unsuitable for human consumption on the roads.
