Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said that the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riga held talks with the head of parliamentary group of Latvia on cooperation with Uzbekistan Aleksandrs Sakovskis. The sides discussed issues of further developing inter-parliamentary and trade-economic relations, as well as upcoming visit of the delegation of Uzbek parliament to Latvia.

During the meeting, it was said that the delegation of parliamentary group, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and businesses circles of Latvia is planning to visit Uzbekistan on 27-30 June, before the visit of the Uzbek delegation.

The visit was aimed at discussing current state and perspectives of further developing inter-parliamentary interactions, issues of upcoming visit of the Uzbek parliamentary delegation to Latvia, expanding trade-economic ties.
