Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg met with the manager of the department of the West Siberian branch of the Otkritie Financial Corporation bank, Svetlana Shumatova, Dunyo news agency reported.

At the meeting, issues of developing investment cooperation were discussed, taking into account the bank’s close ties with large entrepreneurs in Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions of Russia.

It was noted that positive changes in Uzbekistan and ongoing economic reforms inspire confidence among Russian businessmen. In addition, our country is interesting to Russians as a tourist destination.

During the negotiations, it was emphasized that among the bank’s clients, some want to establish mutually beneficial relations with representatives of the business community of Uzbekistan.

Their visit to the city of Samarkand is planned in March of this year in order to meet with potential partners.
