Kyrgyzstan Approves Amendments to Interregional Cooperation Agreement with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — By Resolution No. 507 dated 20 August 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan approved the Protocol on Amendments and Additions to the Agreement between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on Interregional Cooperation, originally signed on 10 June in Tashkent.
The document came into force on 1 September 2025, following its publication in the Kyrgyz newspaper Erkin Too on 22 August. The protocol aims to fulfill domestic procedures and further strengthen bilateral relations.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has been designated as the responsible authority for implementing the provisions of the protocol.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan will notify the Uzbek side upon completion of the necessary procedures.
