Uzbekistan 13/07/2009 Kyrgyz border chief meets counterpart in eastern Uzbek region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting has been held between Chairman of the Kyrgyz Border Service Tokon Mamytov and Commander-in-Chief of the Uzbek National Security Service’s Border Troops Ruslan Mirzoyev in eastern Uzbekistan’s Andijan Region. The meeting was held on 8 July 2009.

The press-service of the Kyrgyz Border Services said that the border chiefs had discussed the state of and further development of cooperation between the border services of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The minutes of the working meeting were signed.

No further details of the meeting have been released.
