Korea, Uzbekistan sign pact for gas field development
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
South Korea and Uzbekistan Thursday signed an agreement on building a chemical plant and developing a gas field in the Uzbek region of Surgil.
The pact also involves fresh deals on joint exploration of oil fields in the West Ferghana and Chinabad blocks.
South Korea and Uzbekistan are already working together to explore the Namangan and Chust oil fields.
