The visitors familiarized with the exhibits, paintings and videos about rich historic-cultural heritage of the Uzbek people, their customs and traditions.
The presentation brochures and examples of folk applied art attracted interests of the representatives of the Korean side, Jahon news agency reported.
Representative of National Folk Museum of Korea Yunmi I said that the event will help to further deepening the Uzbek-Korean relations in cultural-humanitarian sphees.
She said that she read and heard about hospitality of people of Uzbekistan. Last year she visit Uzbekistan and it helped to see ancient history of Uzbekistan and feel amicability of the Uzbek people, she said.
She noted that the organizers of the exhibition decided to organize similar events in other cities of South Korea as well.
