Press-uz.info website reported that KOMFORT LTD JV created network of six trade points in various districts of Tashkent city, which violated acting legislation of Uzbekistan.

The report said that Komfort Elit shop in Mirabad district realized furniture for US$358,000 illegally through “black accounting”. Shop owners also issued 14 million as salaries to employees, who were not registered in line with the legislation.

The website said that furniture and other goods for 4.8 billion soums were found out at inspection of shop. The owners could provide any documents.

The edition said that the company declared the cost of these goods as 1 billion soums, but real price exceeds declared cost by four times.

The report said that director of Komfort Elit hindered to inspection and showed resistance to employees of law enforcement bodies.

Another shop in Chilanzar district sold illegal goods, including furniture, for over 1 billion soums. During the inspection, some 760,000 soums, which were not registered, were seized.

The employees of the shop also worked without labour agreements. Despite these, they received over 26 million soums as salary.

During inspection of customs declarations, it was revealed that KOMFORT LTD imported furniture for over 50 million soums. But, the shop had furniture for over 266 million soums and they have no documents.

Oscar shop in Mirabad district, Titan shop in Shaihantahur district and Florida in Yunusabad region had similar violations. Oscar realized furniture for over US$1.945 million illegally and Titan sold sanitary engineering for 732 million soums. Florida shop sold goods and furniture for 700 million soums.

At the same time, owners of Oscar shop issued salaries for 7 million soums to employees, who were not registered in line with the legislation.

Komfort Elit in Mirza Ulugbek district earned over 2 billion soums through realization of furniture and other products. The report said that the shop imported goods for 1.5 billion soums, bit their cost at the shop were 3.5 times higher or 5.5 billion soums.
