According to UzA, industrial output increased by 10.5%, production of consumer goods – 12.6%, agriculture products - 5%, construction works – 26.6%, retail trade turnover – 13.4%, paid services – 15.1%.

In the reporting, capital investments for 390 billion soums were attracted in 2010, of which 48.2% were directed to production development.

Within the localization programme, the enterprises of the region produced goods for 3.4 billion soums.

In line with territorial employment programme, some 59,400 new jobs were created in the region, of which 87.5% fell to share of rural areas.
