Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Khavasbek Asadullaev, a member of Uzbekistan’s boxing team, was stripped of his gold medal at the Asian Championship for biting his opponent. This was reported by the press service of the Asian Boxing Confederation.
The final bout between Khavasbek Asadullaev and Kazakhstan’s boxer Ablaykhan Zhusupov in the 71 kg weight category took place on 11 December in Thailand.
