Finance 22/04/2007 Khamkor Bank holds talks with ADB, KfW on credit lines

Khamkor Bank, Uzbek commercial bank with headquarters in Andijan, is holding negotiations with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and KfW of Germany on opening of credit lines.

 

Ikrom Ibragimov, chairman of the board of Khamkor Bank, said the bank is holding talks with ADB to open credit line to develop agriculture sector and KfW on development of mortgage crediting.

 

Currently, the Uzbek cooperates with EBRD on development of micro financing, International Finance Corporation on development of small and private businesses and World Bank on development of agriculture sector.

 

Khamkor Bank’s assets made up 90 billion soums, of which 65 billion soums fell to share of credit portfolio.

 

Total capital of the bank comprised 16 billion soums.
