Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan has denied information regarding the introduction of fees for Kazakhstani carriers entering Uzbekistan.

The ministry clarified that, according to the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on International Road Transportation from 2007, carriers from both countries are exempt from paying fees and charges, except for toll road usage fees.

Therefore, no fees will be charged to Kazakhstani carriers within Uzbekistan’s territory.
