Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov, has been awarded the prestigious "Dustlik" (Friendship) Order.

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, announced that the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, conferred the honor on Ambassador Atamkulov. The diplomat received this recognition for his personal contribution to elevating the relationship between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to a new level of mutual respect, trust, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership.

The award also acknowledges Atamkulov’s efforts in fostering political, socio-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, expanding ties in priority areas, and promoting joint projects. His work has significantly strengthened the centuries-old friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
