The statement said that Kazakhstan welcomes decision of Uzbekistan to become participating part of the agreement on free trade zone from 18 October 2011 and supports accession of the Uzbek side to agreement, taking into account principle approaches, agreed and fixed to the draft agreement as of 18 October 2011.

Uzbekistan, in order to achieve mutual compromise, expressed its consent to fix to agreement on free trade zone right of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to mutually apply export customs duties to limited number of products.

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan agreed to carry out agreed political steps on fast completion of negotiation process of accession of Uzbekistan to the agreement by the end of 2012.
