It also entitles the community’s court to functions of a "body for settlement of disputes arising within the framework of EurAsEC".

The lower house also ratified an agreement on the establishment of technical coverage of railways of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Itar-Tass reported.

The lower house’s committee on international affairs, defence and security said in its summary that the "agreement has been signed with the aim of taking practical measures for comprehensive preparation of railways of the member states for steady and uninterrupted functioning and cargo deliveries".

The draft law has been passed for review to parliament’s upper house.

The EurAsEC is an international economic cooperation comprising Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia.
