Kazakhstan, CARICC sign agreement
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government of Kazakhstan and the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre (CARICC) signed the agreement on terms of placement of CARICC office in Almaty, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan said.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Serik Baymaganbetov, and CARICC Director, Beksultan Sarsekov, signed the agreement between the government of Kazakhstan and CARICC.

The agreement provides creation of the legal basis of functioning of the center, defines the status of the centre and its officials, privileges and immunities, privileges concerning CARICC property and the imported equipment, and regulates others legal relations between CARICC and Kazakhstan.

The agreement on CARICC creation was signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
