Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held online negotiations with the management of the Kazakh agro-holding Atameken-Agro, located in Kokshetau (Akmolinsk region), Dunyo news agency reported.
The event was part of the implementation of the decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 17 October 2024, aimed at additional measures to regulate labor migration.
The meeting was attended by Maxim Ulanov, Deputy Chairman of the holding, and staff from the human resources department.
During the discussions, the issues of safe and legal employment of qualified specialists from Uzbekistan were addressed.
The management of the holding announced that for 2025, 120 quotas were allocated for foreign workers, with the possibility of increasing the number to 500.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on the employment of 169 specialists from Uzbekistan in 2025.
