Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, a delegation from the Kaluga region headed by Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Gennady Sklyar is visiting Tashkent. This was reported by the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.

On 24 November, representatives of the region held a working meeting with Deputy Khokim of Tashkent Fakhriddin Davrukov. Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan Igor Kamynin also took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed the further development of interaction between the region and the capital of Uzbekistan, including within the framework of cultural and tourist exchange.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the chambers of commerce and industry of the Kaluga region and the city of Tashkent.
