Judges receive tax preferences, increased salaries
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree “On measures on radical improvement of social protection of employees of judicial system” on 2 August 2012.

With his decree, Uzbek leader approved new levels of payment of labour of judges and freed them from income tax for income, received from their jobs.

The document said that from 1 August new payment level for judges of Constitution Court, general courts and economic courts (except military courts).

President Islam Karimov freed judges of Constitution Courts, general courts and economic courts from payment of income taxes, received from their jobs.

Uzbek head Islam Karimov entrusted the government of Uzbekistan to approve order on issuing long-term mortgage loans to purchase habitation on preferential terms, as well as payment of monthly money compensation for rent of houses.

The government was entrusted to develop programme on introduction of information and communication technologies and creation of IT departments at courts in cooperation with the Supreme Court and Supreme Economic Court.

Supreme Court, Justice Ministry and Finance Ministry will develop proposals on optimization of civil issues courts.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov entrusted ministries to develop a draft of presidential resolution on improving legal education and legal science in the country.
