According to the UFF, 37 year old Spaniard will ink contract with Uzbekistan Futsal Association on 15 August 2011.

Jose Maria Pazos Méndez was received by the President of the UFF Mirabrar Usmanov.

During the meeting, Mirabrar Usmanov underlined that Uzbekistan should show high results at the AFC Futsal Championship and book its place to the World Cup. He added that it is necessary to develop preparation plan, including training in Europe.

In his turn, Jose Maria Pazos Méndez said that he always puts high goals and it is important to hold friendly matches against strong teams such as Iran, Ukraine, Russia and others.

For last four years, Jose Maria Pazos Méndez worked with Thailand and Vietnam national teams. He replaced at this post Brazilian Sergio Sapo.
