Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 September 2024, a meeting took place in Tashkent between Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Ahmed Shaheen, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the negotiations, the current state and prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt were discussed, focusing on trade and economic activities, investments, and industry.
Particular attention was given to the creation of a joint Uzbek-Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, which will serve as a crucial tool for further developing interactions between the business circles of both countries.
The primary objectives of this chamber will include enhancing trade relations, attracting direct foreign investments, and promoting cooperation in sectors such as textile industry, tourism, leather production, and pharmaceuticals.
