Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Football Association has begun negotiations with renowned German coach Joachim Löw, according to Championat.Asia.
Since stepping down as head coach of the German national team in 2021, Löw has not managed any team. However, he may now return to the sidelines — and in the context of a major international project.
Reports indicate that if Löw accepts the offer from the Uzbekistan Football Association, Timur Kapadze is expected to join his coaching staff.
Joachim Löw served as the head coach of the German national team from 2006 to 2021, leading the team to victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
He was named FIFA World Coach of the Year for his achievements in 2014.
