Introduction of new and modernization of existing capacities on processing raw materials helped to increase production of export-oriented goods, UzA reported. Number of enterprises, producing export-oriented goods, increased by four and reached 23.
Alisher Kadirov, head of regional territorial department of foreign economic, investments and trades, said that six enterprises, which produce export-oriented goods, carried out work on modernization for US$1.7 million. He said that the works in this direction are continuing.
The report said that geography of exports is also increasing. The region exports goods to Iran, Ukeaine, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and others.
