Jazz concert “Children to Children” held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent’s Uspensky Music School held a charity concert “Children to Children” on 15 March 2013 in Tashkent.

The goal of the charity concert ‘Children to Children’ is to contribute toward a common cause, to support those with serious health problems and to help children with blood diseases by raising funds. The event is held each month.

The idea of organizing a fundraising concert on a monthly basis was conceived by the students of Uspensky Music School following their visit to a hospital, where they had met with and talked to children with various serious diseases.

The event has proved useful and highly effective since it was first held. The little musicians use the proceeds from the concerts to purchase presents and medications for children undergoing treatment for leukemia, cerebral palsy and other diseases in hospitals.

Latest event was dedicated to jazz. Igor Ten, who is regular participant of the charity campaign, played a solo concert.

The participants of the concert performed popular melodies Can’t buy me love, The shadow of your smile, I know nothing but music, Just listen to me» and others.
