Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 November 2022, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan with Professor of Teikyo University in Japan Toshihisa Ueda and representatives of the Uzbek-Japanese Center in Uzbekistan.

The head and specialists of the Office for the Development of the Innovation Ecosystem in Industry Enterprises took part in it from the Ministry.

Toshihisa Ueda spoke about his scientific and applied research and work carried out in the field of renewable energy in Japan.

The parties agreed to study the possibilities of using renewable energy sources in ensuring uninterrupted and reliable energy supply to settlements located far from the centers in Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Japanese Teikyo University and develop appropriate proposals.
