Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 November, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov held negotiations with a delegation of the Meridiam investment fund led by Director for Eurasia Remy Hassenforder.

At the meeting, Remy Hassenforder presented the investment fund and its activities, including the fund's implemented projects in social infrastructure in different countries. During the meeting, he expressed interest in implementing a number of projects related to the construction of new innovative schools and hospitals of a new level.

During the meeting, Jamshid Kuchkarov discussed the possibility of implementing a project to build innovative schools in various regions of the republic, expressing support for this initiative. At the same time, the possibilities and prospects for implementing projects in transport infrastructure were considered, in particular the construction of the Bukhara-Samarkand and Tashkent-Andijan highways on PPP terms.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation and provision of mutual support in the implementation of projects.
