Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Kuchkarov, held a meeting with a delegation led by Vice President of the Turkish company Gürok Holding, Yesim Güral Argat.
The event was also attended by Gürok Holding’s Business Development Director Ömer Alagöz, the company’s CFO Harun Yalçın Mengüloğlu, Minister of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan Bobir Islamov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Jasur Karshibaev, and other representatives.
The meeting discussed the active development of economic relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as cooperation with major Turkish companies. The Uzbek-Turkish business forum in Ankara and its results were also touched upon.
The parties explored opportunities for cooperation in the fields of geology and mineral extraction, as well as existing and potential projects in these areas. Additionally, they discussed the development of the glass, jewelry, and pharmaceutical industries.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on further development and expansion of cooperation.
Gürok Holding, founded in Kütahya in 1948, is actively involved in industries such as manufacturing, tourism, and construction.
