IUT students take part in the implementation of “Safe City” project in Andijan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Students of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) took part in the implementation of the “Safe City” project in Andijan region.

In line with the resolution of President of Uzbekistan from 29 August 2017, the “Safe City” project is being implemented in stages.

A group of students from Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) were attracted to the realization of this project in Andijan.

The Fizmasoft team, created by IUT students, along with ABL-Soft&SS and Smart-Base created a system for video recording of traffic rules violations and recognition of car number plates.

Within the framework of the project, video surveillance cameras were installed in seven crossroads of Andijan city. Now, the system records four types of traffic rules violations.

Azamjon Rakhimjonov, Sherzodbek Tojimahammatov, Elbek Khoshimjonov, Normurod Mamasoliev, Dostonbek Oripjonov, Muhammadsher Shermamatov, Jasurbek Abdirozikov, Muslim Kholjuraev and other IUT students participated in the realization of the project.

It is expected that IUT students will participate in the realization of next stages of the project in Samarkand region and Karakalpakstan.
