Tursunov underlined that Italy is reliable partner of Uzbekistan in Europe and two countries have warm friendly relations in culture, science and art, while law enforcement bodies established ties. Uzbek official briefed envoy about activity of the department of human rights and legal support, structure and other related information.

Giovanni Ricciulli expressed gratitude for warm welcome and hope for further close cooperation and strengthening of bilateral ties. The guests also expressed interest to basics and principles of makhalla, work of inspectors, who works together with makhalla activists, public and youth.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues on protecting human rights in labour migration, global problems of human trafficking, cooperation of law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan and Italy, as well as other issues.
