The Italian delegation held talks in the Senate of Oliy Majlis (upper house of parliament) and the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan on 1 April.

The sides stressed that Uzbekistan and Italy develop relations in many spheres step by step, especially parliamentarism, legal base of which became agreements reached during meetings between two presidents.

The inter-parliamentary cooperation has great importance in strengthening of bilateral relations. Issues on its further development in this direction were discussed during the talks. The guests got familiarized with the two-chamber Uzbek Parliament’s activity.

The Italian delegation’s members visited the state museum of Temurids’ history, examined exhibits demonstrating Amir Temur and his descendants.
