Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin progressed to the second round of Kremlin Cup in Moscow, Russia.

In the first round, Denis Istomin defeated Aljaz Bedene of Great Britain in straight sets 6:3 and 6:3. The match lasted an hour and 11 minutes. Istomin recorded one ace and four break points during this time.

Denis Istomin will face Marin Cilic of Croatia, top seed of the tournament, in the second round.
