Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13-14 November, a government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev visited the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the visit, Minister of Transport Ilkhom Mahkamov held meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Communications, Railways, Maritime Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, large transport logistics companies of Pakistan NLC-Logistics and TCS.

During the negotiations, further steps of cooperation were determined on the development of multimodal transport between Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan along the Trans-Afghan corridor, reducing the amount of fees charged during transportation, simplifying cargo transportation processes and accelerating the implementation of the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan railway construction project.
