Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ashraf Khojaev held negotiations with the management of the Qatari medical company Elegancia Healthcare on the development of practical cooperation, Dunyo news agency reported.

Elegancia Healthcare is part of the Qatari company Power International Holding and is the country’s largest healthcare company. It owns 4 large multi-chain hospitals with a total capacity of 840 beds and a medical staff of 250 highly qualified doctors and more than 400 nurses - “The View Hospital”, “Military Medical City”, “Hopital Algero Qatari Alleman” (Qatar) and “Korean Medical Center” (The Republic of Korea).

The management of the medical institution got acquainted with information about the reforms being carried out in the healthcare system of Uzbekistan, in particular, to protect public health, create the necessary conditions for increasing the capacity of medical workers, increasing the coverage and quality of medical services.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize online negotiations between the management of the Elegance Healthcare company and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan in order to accelerate the implementation of the agreements reached.
