Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Khokim of Tashkent, Sanjar Tadjiev, held a meeting with Ilyas Umakhanov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science, Education, and Culture.

During the negotiations, the parties exchanged experiences and ideas regarding the expansion of cultural interaction. Special attention was given to the organization of joint cultural events aimed at popularizing the national traditions and arts of both countries, which contributes to strengthening mutual respect and friendly relations between the peoples.

The conditions for implementing exchange programs in the fields of art and culture were also discussed.

Particular interest was shown in issues of cooperation in the spheres of education and science. The possibilities for launching exchange programs between universities and implementing joint research projects focused on addressing pressing issues and integrating advanced technologies were discussed. Additionally, the prospects for developing educational programs using innovative methods were considered, which will enhance the quality of training for young specialists.
