Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 June 2023, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Viktor Boretsky.

During the meeting, issues of expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation were considered.

It was noted that our countries have every opportunity to develop mutually beneficial industrial cooperation projects in the fields of metalworking, electrical engineering, chemical products, medical equipment and other products in demand.

The issue of accelerating the signing of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments, as well as on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was agreed upon. The document will create a solid foundation and favorable conditions for the implementation of industrial cooperation projects and a multiple increase in bilateral trade.

The parties considered the schedule of joint events, in particular, the organization of visits by government delegations, business forums and exhibitions of national products.

As a result of the meeting, further steps were identified to promote and implement all the discussed projects and initiatives.
