Issues of development of e-commerce were discussed with the CEO of Zood

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 July, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Oleg Pekos held a meeting, which was attended by the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zood group of companies (a brand of the Swiss company Orient Swiss Company) Michael Hoy, Chief Zood Logistics Director Askarbek Alshanbaev and Zood Fargo Delivery Service Director Azamat Abdullayev. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

The meeting discussed issues of digitalization of foreign economic activity through the launch of bonded warehouse services and increasing the knowledge of small and medium-sized businesses in the field of e-commerce.

Michael Hoy, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zood group of companies, noted the possibility of selling products manufactured in Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Pakistan through the Zoodmall platform.

At the same time, issues that hinder the development of e-commerce today were also touched upon. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to involve other government bodies in the upcoming meetings and establish strong partnerships.
