Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz ) – Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan Shahlo Turdikulova met with the head of the Qatar Development Bank, Executive Director of Consulting and Incubation Hamad Salem Medzheger during her visit to Qatar.

In addition to providing a range of financial and advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses, the QDB promotes the development of small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurship and innovation, job creation and economic diversification, as well as building a sustainable knowledge-based economy through entrepreneurship and innovation support programs.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to invite potential start-up companies of Qatar to Uzbekistan, jointly hold a presentation (demo day) of Uzbek-Qatari startups, provide assistance, advice and create the necessary conditions for innovative Uzbek companies to enter the market of Uzbekistan on the market of Qatar. Also, the bank's management and representatives of Qatari innovative enterprises were invited to the innovation week "Innoweek-2023", which will be held in October this year.
