Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Negotiations were held in Japan with representatives of KYOSAN ELECTRIC MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. led by Deputy General Manager Takayuki Tajima. This was reported by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo.

KYOSAN ELECTRIC MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. was founded in 1917. The company is engaged in the production and installation of equipment for traffic management on roads, including traffic lights, traffic light control systems, unloading of traffic flows on roads and road junctions. In addition, the company produces equipment for managing railway infrastructure, including systems for switching railway lines, avoiding collisions between trains on railway lines, systems for stabilizing and ensuring uninterrupted power supply, and vehicle control systems. The company has production facilities in Japan, China and India, as well as sales offices in Poland and Thailand.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the transport sector, management of traffic flows in the cities of the republic to prevent the accumulation of "traffic jams" on roads and intersections, especially rush hours, were discussed. It was noted that the flow of vehicles in the cities of Uzbekistan is increasing from year to year and creates difficulties on the roads for vehicle drivers. Plans were also announced to create the concept of a safe city in the city of Tashkent, where the number of registered cars alone already exceeds more than 700 thousand.

For their part, representatives of KYOSAN ELECTRIC MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. shared their experience in traffic management on roads and intersections in Japan. So the system and equipment of KYOSAN ELECTRIC MANUFACTURRING CO., LTD. allows itself to regulate and unload intersections and roads without human intervention, which is effectively used in the cities of Japan, allowing unloading large flows of vehicle traffic.

In addition, the representatives of the company spoke about the available equipment and control systems for railway transport, in particular, the automatic train control device (ATS), warning system, passenger flow management, and adjusting the movement of trains according to the established schedule. The company also has equipment to protect pedestrians and vehicles passing through railroad crossings from collisions with trains.

During the negotiations, issues of production and implementation of control systems and equipment for roads and railways in Uzbekistan were discussed. Representatives of the company expressed their readiness to establish the production of the necessary equipment in partnership with electrical equipment manufacturers in Uzbekistan and expressed their readiness to localize production in the country as much as possible.

In addition, the representatives of the company wished to conduct research on the roads of the cities of Uzbekistan with the subsequent introduction of systems for unloading vehicle flows at intersections and roads.
