Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 26 February, Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov met with the Chairman of the Board of CRRC Corporation Limited of the People’s Republic of China Sun Yongcai.
 
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on promising projects for the development of the country’s railway transport sector, in particular on the renewal and modernization of railway rolling stock and the localization of production processes.
 
Issues of cooperation were also discussed regarding the transfer of the rolling stock of urban public transport to environmentally friendly modes of transport in order to increase the share of “green transport” in the republic.
