Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou took part in a presentation on the topic "Quality development and import of food products, fruits and vegetables", Dunyo news agency reported.

The event was attended by officials from Guangdong Province, as well as heads of regional departments of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the China International Trade Facilitation Center, President of the Guangdong Food Importers Association (GDIFA) Wang Chi, as well as representatives of more than 100 local importers and retail chains.

In turn, the Chinese participants were told about the opportunities created for business representatives in our country, and the readiness of entrepreneurs of our country to supply high-quality, environmentally friendly products manufactured in Uzbekistan to the market of the southern provinces of China.

It should be noted that Uzbek producers and exporters were invited to the Food2China Expo and the Guangzhou International Food and Ingredients Fair, which will be held in Guangzhou on 21-23 September.

Participation in this exhibition will allow our country to sell processed agricultural products. This allows us to increase exports to South China, find new import partners and sign export contracts.
