Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the project “Automation of monitoring of atmospheric air pollution”, the Zamin Foundation, with the support of UNEP, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Hydrometeorological Service Agency and the Ministry of Health, held a round table on the topic “Sources of pollution air in large cities and its impact on public health” in videoconference format.

Speaking at the event, the head of the UNEP Office for Central Asia expressed support for the fund's initiatives and readiness to further assist in their implementation, including within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Understanding between UNEP and the Zamin Foundation.

A separate role at the round table was given to an integral part of the project - the revision and development of SanPiN on the content of PM 10 and PM 2.5 in the atmospheric air, taking into account the natural and climatic conditions of Uzbekistan.
