Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 April, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, employees of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association held a round table on the topic “Problems arising when exporting leather and footwear products and their decisions."

More than 40 heads of enterprises producing and exporting leather and footwear products from all regions of the country took part in the dialogue.

During an open dialogue, systemic and individual problems arising in the production and export activities of entrepreneurs were discussed. In particular, opportunities were considered to increase the added value of leather and footwear products, diversify foreign markets, expand the raw material base, and provide the industry with qualified personnel.

Entrepreneurs put forward 25 innovative proposals based on personal experience, which were accepted for analysis and development of centralized solutions.

As a result of the round table, a “Road Map” was formed, which included mechanisms for solving all problematic issues.
