The championship for masters under the age of 18 competed on rapid, blitz and classic chess in line with the FIDE rules. About 270 chess masters from 12 Asian states participated at the tournament.

Islambek Sindirov won in all three categories and clinched three gold medals of the tournament. He won 20 of 21 matches and set a record, UzA reported.

Javohir Sindarov and Nodirbek Yoqubboev won silver medals in blitz competitions among the chess masters at the age of up to 8 and 14 respectively.

Shakhnoza Tursunova claimed two bronze medals in rapid and blitz competitions among girls at the age of up to 16.
